Job Description
As a molding and tooling engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experts in scientific molding to develop processes for new products and gain hands on experience in setting up programs for production molding. You will also work on the development of conformal cooling circuits in mold designs and will learn principles of additive manufacturing materials and processes for use in injection molding. The intern will also participate in the setup and launch of new molds and process equipment.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university in an engineering or technology major.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Experience in plastic injection molding is preferred.
