Job Description

1.     Develop BPS implementation strategy specific to the MOEs/Departments; as well as       develop and drive AdP site wide initiatives as directed.

2.     Lead department BPS maturity assessment activities in coordination with MOE’s

3.     Support System-CIP projects and activities for department

4.     Utilize BPS tools to provide methodology for adjusting capacities to meet current and future requirements.

5.     Provide input for long term strategic physical logistics concept.

6.     Coordinate and lead department VSM workshops and VSM maintenance.

7.     Develop efficient materials flow systems in coordination with MFE/MFO/LOW.

8.     Implement Standardized Work in coordination with MFO/MFE/LOW. 

9.     Conduct BPS Work shops as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (engineering or related technical/business field) and 3 years experience.
• Significant experience with lean manufacturing systems and concepts (BPS).
• Experience with quality systems preferred.
• Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred.
• Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
• Experience utilizing problem solving techniques to solve complex process issues (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 Whys).
• Prefer working experience with any of the following: SAP, or Tableau/PowerBI.
• Familiarity with logistics and warehousing processes like: Shipping, receiving, milk runs, picking, kitting, component Kanban, etc.
