Job Description
The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for an outstanding MS or PhD student to investigate adjoint methods for simulation-based design. The scope of this internship is to perform adjoint-based shape optimization for Bosch products with a specific focus on developing geometry constraint models as an important component in the optimization workflow. All work is within the context of a Python-based Bosch in-house optimization framework and the open-source SU2 software package for multiphysics simulation and design. In addition to practical application, the intern will implement new numerical methods, performance improvements, or adjoint formulations in the software as necessary.
