Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Master Degree in Engineering
- 2 or more years of experience in combustion, thermodynamics, or heat transfer (can include professional, academic or internship/co-op experience).
- First-hand experience in engine or vehicle calibration
- Experience in engine controls development
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping of controls
- Experience with 1D or 3D engine simulation tools such as GT-Suite or AVL Fire.
- 1 or more years of experience with industrial control and calibration tools such as INCA, ATI VISION, ASCET, Indicom.
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, effectively manage projects, evaluate concepts, and present results
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related program
- 3+ years of automotive experience.
- 3+ years of experience with methods and tools for calibration and components for combustion engines and exhaust after treatment.
- Experience collaborating with research institutions such as universities or national laboratories.
- Experience with project management tools and processes.
- Deep knowledge of internal combustion principles.
