Job Description

This position will support a newly established product line that focuses on environmental monitoring and air quality with a variety of products and services (hardware, software, and cloud digital storage). The position will be especially compelling to candidates with interest in environmental topics and business that supports this market. You will work with an international team, supporting the growth of the North American market. As the Sales and Marketing Intern, you will take the lead in market research and the identification of potential customers. Specific responsibilities may include:

• Analyze market trends in air monitoring and environmental legislation related to environmental topics
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional international teams to find potential customers, identify key contacts, and make initial customer contact
• Perform detailed analysis of competitors and their products and use cases
• Support creation of regional sales campaigns, and create fliers / product brochures to support sales efforts
• Report results and provide updates in regular project reviews
• Participate in weekly / monthly department meetings

This is a flexible position which will work with your schedule and support off-site work.

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university

Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in business or marketing field with at least one semester completed

Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Michigan resident with ability to commute as needed to Farmington Hills MI preferred

Position will report to the local project leader -- PS/PAQ-NA
