  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Assist engineers with designing, building, testing & planning for HVAC unit ratings, qualification and reliability testing
    • Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing
    • Assist engineering in product design and development
    • Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support
    • Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical , Electrical , Mechatronics, Controls) with at least one semester completed

    • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

    • Minimum 18 years of age

    • Understanding of engineering fundamentals.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Test prototypes and write reports to document results

    • Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages)

    • Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment

    • Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding)

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations

    • Ability to perform basic design modifications

    • Experience in some of the following areas

    • Prior knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus

    • Prior experience operating powered industrial truck (e.g. electric pallet jack, forklift) is a plus
