  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As an intern in our department, you will develop, maintain, execute, track, and report on vehicle data analysis topics. Work on technical performance indicators and the Driver Assistance software functions and vehicle measurement recording.  He/she will support the development of our driver assistance core software development cycle.

    You are responsible for the below:

    • Analyze and document the test results using established processes
    • Support the team with re-simulation / data mining / labeling / testing
    • Support vehicle integration (e.g. flashing, debugging, troubleshooting, and recording measurements…)
    • Program, test, and integrate gateways in the development vehicle.
    • Test Real world scenario in vehicle, and document results as needed.
    • Extend existing analysis tools to support new feature development using scripting languages like Matlab and Python
    • Work on small development projects to bring efficiency for testing and performance tracking and visualization
    • Collect Data in the vehicle as and when needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with one semester completed
    • experience in C++
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
    • background of software development / testing
    • experience and/or Python and/or Matlab
    • background of data analysis methods and explanatory data analysis
    • good team and communication skills to fit within a committed and very cooperative team.

     

    PREFERRED:

    • experience with scripting languages
    • ideally experience with Vector tooling (e.g. CANape, CANalyzer)
    • Know How of Python and Matlab libraries like Matplot lib pandas numpy
    • Experience of tool development in general
    • Knowledge of "Driver Assistance" functions and sensor technologies
