Graduate Software Engineer Intern (Starting June 2018/6 Months)
Job Description
Assist software engineers who perform the following tasks:
• Maintain and develop software for chassis control projects • Software project management and component development • Develop software in accordance with defined processes: requirements management; concept and design review; implementation; component and system test; release for prototype, baseline, sample, or series • Collaborate with multi discipline project team domestic and abroad • Support team members in lab and/or vehicle • Interface with customer and resolve software related issues • Support quality checks like milestone review and quality assessments • Adhere to quality initiatives like errata, defect monitoring, and risk assessments • Travel to customer meetings and/or project team offsite activities • Report status to line management
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Computer, Electrical, Mechatronic, Math, Physics, or Chemistry
• Graduate level student
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with software development processes • Experience with embedded C/C++ programming • Ability to grasp new technologies with associated hardware and software interfaces • Team player with problem solving and critical thinking skills • Interest in vehicles and their dynamics
