Job Description

• First point of contact in North America for V2X topic.
• Drive open questions about C-V2X (4G, 5G), 4G/5G, DSRC, BLE technologies, turn issues into solutions, and manage closure of open topics responsibly.
• Interface between Bosch and consortiums, committees, task groups in North America for V2X topics.
• Develop industry contacts and stay informed about latest trends & technology in the industry.
• Work on V2X topics closely with Bosch experts at HQ in Germany.
• Establish target criteria, direction for proof of concepts and conduct necessary research to advance the selected V2X technology or technologies.
• Analyze OEM customer requirement documents, provide technical content for quotation packages and support quotation packages for responses; Goal:  understand OEM requirements, interface for technical content and creation of OEM interfaces.  
• Up to 15% travel may be required both domestic and international. Ability to travel to Germany up to two times per year and to various industry meetings 4-5 times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Human Factors Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with V2X concepts, standards and technologies such as C-V2X, DSRC, etc.
• Experience in emerging wireless technologies and connected car services, such as phone to vehicle integration, data services, internet radio, etc. 
• Knowledgeable about existing SAE Standards/committees for V2X.
• Self-motivated and effective communicator with a strong interest in emerging technologies.
• Experience participating in Consortium and standardization committees such as SAE ITC, 5GAA, C2C-CC, etc.
• Experience in wireless technologies such as 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, BLE, etc.
