  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Day to day duties include:

    • Assist in installing new Lab equipment and related structures as per drawing/specification within the specified timescale ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and that work is performed to the company's high standards. Perform assigned Lab infrastructure and equipment maintenance work.
    • Report regularly on assigned project accomplishments, on any issues to be resolved, and on deficiencies impacting progress to the Team Leader.
    • Assist in conducting inspections of equipment and infrastructure to ensure compliance in accordance with standards, and report and help in resolving problems identified.
    • Deal professionally, competently, and courteously with work colleagues as well as external vendors in verbal and written communications.
    • Perform all work in conformance with all company health & safety policies at all times.
    • Properly use and store tools and supplies used, and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
    • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge for the effective job performance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Experience / Skills:

    • Must have a minimum of 1 year previous experience working with, assembling, installing, and repairing, industrial electro-mechanical equipment and associated industrial infrastructures.

    • Hold relevant technical education qualifications/certifications for the role.

    • Ability to effectively and safely use various hand and powered tools in performing work.

    • Ability to safely move and manipulate various materials and equipment as needed.

    • Good communication (oral, reading and writing) skills, and able to read/interpret drawings.

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university

    • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with at least one semester completed

    • Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0

    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

    • Mechanical / Electrical / industrial if right candidate. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude, prefer Electro-mechanical understanding

    • Desirable Experience / Skills:

    • Previous experience working in Lab environment using special purpose equipment.

    • Basic electro-mechanical knowledge of installing and wiring machinery and equipment.

    • HVAC systems installation and operating principles knowledge and experience.
