Job Description

The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Palo Alto, CA is looking for two outstanding students in engineering and physics to work on evaluating real-time state/parameter estimation and control algorithms based on detailed models of Li-ion batteries. The goals of the internship are to design, set up and conduct experiments to test  and validate different estimation and control algorithms for Li-ion batteries on a dSPACE® platform.

Primary responsibilities:

• Design experiments to validate different estimation and control algorithms for batteries
• Set up and run experiments on a dSPACE® rapid prototyping platform. 
• Define clear performance metrics and evaluate the performance of the algorithms using data collected in closed loop experiments.
  

Preferred start date: Jan 2018 (Summer 2018 is also possible)

Internship duration: 3-6 months
