Job Description
INDIRECT PURCHASING – MRO MATERIAL FIELD FOR NORTH AMERICA (MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OPERATIONS INCLUDING TOOLING, CHEMICALS, SAFETY, AND MACHINE COMPONENTS)
§ Manage SAP data for recurring items purchased by all locations across USA, Mexico and Canada to be contracted during global negotiations with more than 40 suppliers
§ Coordinate and participate in negotiations with local USA suppliers
§ Coordinate and process Requests for Quotations for various projects
§ Manage the contract creation, signature process and archiving of regional contracts
§ Work with regional commodity buyers to assist with resolving invoicing discrepancies
§ Assist with regional based purchasing competition projects; compare supplier quotations for lowest total cost of ownership offer
Qualifications
Competencies and Qualifications:
§ Students must be a current undergraduate student or within one year of graduation
§ Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or other related major.
§ Basic SAP experience preferred
§ Advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, vlookups, conditional formatting); Macro/VBA experience preferred
§ Ability to work 20-40 hours per week
