Job Description
As a Logistics Innovation Manager, you will be focused on implementing continuous improvement methodologies along with BPS (Bosch Production System) principles to support the Logistics Department (LOP, LOM) achieve its goals and objectives.
- Lead innovation initiatives inside LOG and support BPS process implementation in all Log areas;
- Material (physical) and information flow (SAP) optimization through the Value Stream (components to finished goods warehouse), utilizing VSDia methodology;
- Plan and implement extensive innovation logistics projects as part of a strategic role of logistics in collaboration with internal/external departments;
- Analyze existing logistics processes and formulate alternative possible solutions. Perform cost-effectiveness analyses, cost comparisons and propose improvement ideas;
- Responsible to coordinate and hands on support LOG management to LOG-C, LOG-Q function and design and automate logistics reporting (internal and external);
- Implementation of standardized and automated LOG processes tools; Selection of IT tools to automate LOG and key user role support to LOG processes;
- Key contributor to SAP improvement projects where necessary (planning and execution);
- Ability to understand how deviations affect a large and complex replenishment strategy;
- Assist day-to-day management procurement and production planning activities to support inventory initiatives and orders backlog reduction;
- Ability to design, implement, and present key business indicators to all levels of the organization;
- Active role in digitalization and automation strategy inside and outside logistics area;
- Propose and implement continuous improvement recommendations;
- Planning implementation and facilitation of FMEA’s (Failure Mode Effects Analysis processes) applied to logistics and ensure its maintenance and regular update;
- Manage, coordinate and coach the LOI team;
- Assist in internal compliance requirements and execution;
- Other activities as assigned.
