    Job Description

    We are looking to fill the position of Test Engineer / Test Coordinator in the Radar Software department. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation of Hardware in the Loop test cases as well as the organization and coordination of the test activities for multiple projects.

    Specifically,

    • Work closely with Requirements Owners to develop quality test cases.
    • Work with Project Managers and Test Coordinator to establish testing milestones and deadlines.
    • Analyze test failures to identify incorrect test cases vs. software defects.
    • Support capacity planning for multiple programs.
    • Generate defect reports for software defects and assign to responsible software function owner.
    • Maintain Testing Hardware and associated testing equipment for SIL/HIL testing, etc. 
    • Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test strategy for integration, regression, and performance testing. Analyze validation results.
    • Provide traceability from test cases and results back to specific user stories, requirements, or quality risks.
    • Support internal and external quality audits.
    • Employ domain and technical expertise in selection and assignment of test platforms, test center, and engineers for the test activities.
    • Generate and maintain test summary reports, test criteria, and risks assessments.
    • Regular interface with global teams to provide assistance and guidance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
    • 1+ years of experience in software testing for complex embedded systems.
    • 1+ years academic or work experience in writing and troubleshooting code in Python Programming Language.
    • 1+ years of software quality management including:
      • Requirement management and tracing using IBM Doors and DXL scripting, or similar tool.
      • Test and defect management using Quality Center (ALM), Atlassian JIRA, or similar tool.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with C++ Programming language.
    • Working experience in testing methodologies and software development life cycle.
    • Knowledge of testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for verification and validation and test driven development methods.
    • Experience with Linux.
    • System knowledge of Driver Assistance Features.
