  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Support the application software development team in the key tasks and responsibiliteis below:

    • Design and maintain chassis control software functions for brake control systems.  These include but are not limited to anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, and driver assistance functions.
    • Test software functions against customer requirements according to defined software development processes and implementation standards.
    • Utilize different simulation techniques including open-loop, SIL, and HIL environments in order to improve development efficiency and software quality.
    • Perform in-vehicle testing and analyze measurements.
    • Support the calibration team both remotely and on site for various test trips.
    • Interface with customer and resolve software related issues.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or similar engineering field.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Familiarity with software programming.

    PREFERRED:

    • Must be a team player with good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong physics background.
    • Working knowledge of vehicles.
    • Intermediate to advance skills in C programming or similar language.
    • Familiarity with graphical programming, i.e. Simulink, ASCET.
    • Familiarity with simulation tools i.e. CarSim, CarMaker, MATLAB, Simulink, SIL, HIL, or Labcar.
