Job Description

The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Palo Alto (2018 Sunnyvale), CA is looking for outstanding students in engineering to work on control strategies for different hybrid electric vehicle topologies. The goals of the internship are to test an existing control strategy and to develop / implement extensions and evaluate the control on system level. The developed control system will be used to operate a multi-mode hybrid medium duty delivery truck (prototype).

Primary responsibilities:

•  Test / validate / improve existing control strategy for power-split hybrids in a system simulation environment
• Develop and evaluate new approaches or extensions for the control strategy.

Preferred start date: Summer 2018

Internship duration: 3-6 months
