  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Manufacturing Engineering Intern provides support in planning of equipment and processes to improve the efficiency of operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:

    • Participate in the design, build, and launch of new equipment and process improvement projects.
    • Participate in first time through (FTT) reduction activities.
    • Participate in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvement activities.
    • Assist in the process of establishing manufacturing rates and routings.
    • Assist with the development of assembly process documentation.
    • Miscellaneous administrative and technical tasks may be assigned as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Student currently enrolled in an engineering or technology related degree program, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics.
    • Experience with lean manufacturing tools in a production environment preferred.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures.
    • Strong project management skills.
