Job Description

Our Hardware development team in Plymouth, MI develops Radar, Camera and Ultrasonic based Driver Assistance products.

We offer an internship for 6 months or longer to support the Ultrasonic sensor color development team and sub project managers.

• Support the color development process for our products
• Support team with theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of color process development, painting and chemical engineering
• Support development related testing in lab environment
• Performing measurements with lab equipment and lab software tools
• Track, label and inventory parts
• Analyze and document results and present to team members and customers
• Support in documentation and process related tools
• Support in project management
• Join team and project meetings

Qualifications

Required

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical or Paint Process Engineering with at least one semester completed
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently and self-organized.
• Good communication skills.
• Good team work

Preferred

• Working experience / painting experience in professional paint shop. Ie. automotive body shop, or plant
• Demonstrate organizational skills of tracking several hundred different items.
• Good Excel / MS Office knowledge
• Understanding of driver assistance
• Understanding of electronic design and circuits
• Understanding of mechanical design and drawings
