Job Description

• Application support and training

  • Learn and support vehicle builds for any and all projects which includes writing work orders and ensuring project timelines are met and vehicles are built properly and on time
    • Gathering parts/instrumentation
    • Writing work orders
    • Overseeing and supporting the build
    • Test and debug

• Organize parts and instrumentation area in bldg.. 103 at BPG    

  • Organize and label all parts and instrumentation with tags
  • Create a spreadsheet for easy tracking to be put in the K:drive
  • Share procedure with the team

• TPM (Technical Project Management) support and training

  • Support team TPM’s with DOORS REQM
  • component installation checklists
  • customer meetings – assist following up on open topics

• Support SW re-flash as needed at customer locations

• Assist with SW tools to optimize Application/Calibration work (Java, Macros, VBA, Data Analytics…)

• Poke Yoke for ABS (anti-lock braking systems) safety for ABS off maneuvers.

• Lead CIP projects.

• If a skilled rider:·       

  • Complete performance rider training to level 2

  • Review and understand customer DVP

  • Complete ABS vehicle performance validation for customer projects as needed

  • Review and learn Bosch VTC procedure

  • Run VTC3s and VTC5s for any and all projects as needed

    • Complete data analysis and put in presentable pass/fail format in Excel for customer projects

Qualifications

In good standing (> 3.0 gpa) at an accrdited 4-year college or university

Majoring in Mechanical, Electrical  or Systems Engineering

Avid 2-wheel and powersports rider preferred

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
