    Job Description

    There’s no such thing as a typical day when you’re focused on Innovation and Change.     Some of the things you’ll do while at Bosch:

    • Support the multiple exciting projects in the Chicago Connectory – Bosch’s IoT Innovation Space. Be part of the management team and use your organization skills to ensure that improvements to the space happen on-time and budget. You will be responsible to maintain the several IoT demos and present them to members and visitors to the space. Assist as a co-facilitator for the innovation challenge program where you will learn about the methodologies that support start-ups in their early stages. 
    • You will work directly with the operations and leadership teams as well as internal and external partners in the local tech ecosystem. As a contributing member of the innovation team you will play a key role in the success of these initiatives and others that directly impact the success of the Chicago Connectory.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organize and implement small/medium improvement projects
    • Maintain IoT demos in operation, installation of new demos
    • Give tours to potential members and visitors. Present IoT demos
    • Assist in the innovation challenge program with various tasks
    • Educate innovation team, partners and leadership on new initiatives
    • Expand collaboration with other innovation spaces in the world
    • Partner with operations team to drive efficiencies
    • Other tasks and projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILL SET

    • Current enrollment in university -or-  Recent graduate (within the last 6 months)
    • Experience in project coordination (technical and not-technical)
    • Experience with Smart devices and IT connectivity
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong organizational, scheduling, and project management skills
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Strong in MS Excel knowledge
    • Basic working knowledge of project planning software
    • Basic presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)

    • Creativity & entrepreneurial mindset
    • Innovative mind set and high attention to detail 
    • Possess the ability to work within a diverse environment

    Additional Information

    To qualify for Bosch’s Domestic Internship Program, you must:

    • Be a full-time student or recent graduate (<6 months) at an accredited university
    • Maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA in a degreed program
    • Not now or in the future require sponsorship
