Job Description
The BPS coordinator will develop and increase BPS competency within AS-SC Florence production location. Definition and implementation of tools to develop the BPS System CIP approach and BPS elements. Promote the application of PGL process for new lines. Ensure BPS culture and competence will be fully understood and applied within the plant, across areas (LOG, QMM, TEF, etc) Develop strategy and apply BPS related training sessions to operators, team leaders and supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
· Lead fast improvement activities (speed week) on defined VS’s (projects to support VS target achievement faster or not possible to be done without expertise)
· Implementation and development of DLR (daily leadership routines) in manufacturing area
· Periodically reviews, assessment and action plan development of BPS maturity within the plant
· BPS elements implementation, such as VSD/VSM, Kanban system, plant layout, standardized work, cycle time, quick changeover, ergonomics, TPM, FOL, LLD, etc.
· Definition and implementation of mechanisms to make regular layered process confirmation of the system in place
· BPS maturity assessment evaluation support
· Development of all required documentation aligned with Quality System and responsibility of CIP topics response during quality audits
· BPS related competence development in AS-SC/Fle, including training, project coaching, good practice sharing, etc.
· Development of training material for on-site sessions
· Instructor for BPS trainings, related topics and moderator in workshops as required
· Development of Standardized work documentation for manufacturing operations according to Bosch standards, using time measurement methods
· Support the definition and deployment of short- to mid-term product strategy.
· Coordination of Ergo check within the plant
· Drive and guide I4.0 initiatives
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master's Degree a plus)
EXPERIENCE: 5 Years' Experience
