Vehicle Systems Engineering Intern (Starting March 2019/6 months minimum)
Job Description
As vehicle systems engineering intern you design powertrain architecture and cooling concepts including actuators, sensors and controls, vehicle dynamics and electric systems for various vehicle classes, mainly with hybridization. You drive the optimization process for the whole system to meet/exceed energy consumption, performance and comfort targets which correlate to the customer’s requirements and design philosophy, while considering all interactions between the individual subsystems. Our extensive customer portfolio includes a spectrum of major manufacturers from luxury and sports car segments to commercial vehicles including highly advanced technical applications. Main Duties: • System design and system simulation (Powertrain, Thermal, Energy Storage) • Component selection for relevant subsystems (Powertrain, Thermal, Energy Storage) • Preparation/interpretation/presentation of results to project team/customer • Developing and extending professional networks within Bosch and to external business partners
