    Job Description

    This summer internship will allow the potential candidate(s) to contribute to actively running projects and get exposure to highly advanced algorithmic research and development.  Tasks can include:

    • Supporting the software team with development, tuning, verification and validation of Driver Assistance functions.
    • Prototyping and researching novel algorithmic approaches to solve the driver assistance problems of the future.
    • Supporting the development team with computer vision, image and video processing / labeling / testing for active projects which are going into production.
    • Support the software development team verify and validate driver assistance functionality.
    • Supporting software module testing
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Applicant should have the following qualifications:

    • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Math or related technical field with at least three semesters completed.
    • Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0.
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    • Programming experience in one or more object-oriented languages, including C, C++, Python and/or MATLAB.
    • Available for a 12-week summer internship which can be extended into the academic year.

    Additional experience and interest in the following areas are also considered:

    • Ability to test functions live in a vehicle and in simulated environments.
    • Machine Learning and computer vision.
    • Embedded programming.
    • Agile working environment and tools.
