    Job Description

    The Feature owner RSE is responsible for technical activities at the software level of a project, technical decisions concerning software design, and coordinates software development.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Creation of the project feature list and the technical design specifications for rear seat entertainment module
    • Create the overall software planning and requirements analysis, & track software project progress
    • Creation of rough design of the software (distribution of functions among components and definition of the interfaces) in cooperation with project team leaders
    • Alignment & coordination with OEM customers, internal product teams, and external sub-suppliers on feature list, functional content, milestone planning, and technical details
    • Propose innovative solutions to technical issues and communicate with different teams to collaborate accordingly
    • Maintain collaboration and act as interface with internal and external SW developments teams in a multi-location global development environment
    • Support build of prototype technologies into demonstration and series development, coordinate integration of 3rd party applications
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
    • 5+ years’ experience in developing & de bugging software in a real time, embedded multiprocessor Automotive environment
    • 3+ years of experience in design and Software development of automotive system based on embedded Android OS and other Automotive Operating Systems
    • 3+ years of experience in agile software development and continuous integration processes and methodologies.

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience in Automotive infotainment or rear seat entertainment related functions
    • Previous experience with Linux/Android operating/FireOS system required
    • Experience in Android studio and Android application development.
    • Excellent knowledge about object-oriented development and design with C/C++, Kotlin and/or Java programming skills.
    • Experience in interaction with and management of subcontractors / third party suppliers
    • Strong communication skills both on a technical as well as an abstract level
    • Experience working within a large, globally distributed development team
