Job Description

The Junior Strategic Buyer is mainly responsible for:

• Supporting all stages of supplier negotiations from preparation to finalization
• Preparing and routing price decision approvals which feed SAP master data
• Preparing and maintaining price contracts
• Supporting buyers with ad hoc tasks to achieve annual business plan goals
• Leading counter-measures and technical cost reduction initiatives
• Scouting markets worldwide for new suppliers and technologies
• Executing frame contracts including Non-disclosure / Price / Quality / Logistics / EDI

Qualifications

• 2+ years previous Supply Chain experience required
• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing or related Business field required
• 2+ years SAP (Vendor, Material, Info Record, Source List, Scheduling Agreement, PO) experience required
• Excel proficiency (pivot tables, waterfall charts, lookup functions, etc.) required
• Basic productivity software proficiency: Outlook / PowerPoint / Word required; PowerBI preferred
• Ability to travel 5~15% required
• PILUM, SupplyOn or similar e-procurement platform experience preferred
