Job Description

• Conduct advanced research and engineering in human motion capture and action recognition with multiple devices and sensors.
• Design and implement complete solutions to enable natural human-machine interaction.
• Integrate the algorithm/software/system into prototypes or Bosch products.
• Work on research topics and target high-quality paper and patent submissions.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Strong background in machine learning, signal processing, system engineering, and related fields.
• Knowledge and practical experience in action recognition, motion capture, and 3D animation rendering.
• Strong coding and debugging skills in C/C++ and related libraries.
• Strong research and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

DESIRED: 

• Experience in real-time human motion recognition systems.
• Experience in different motion capture devices, e.g. optical solutions, IMU, etc.
• Experience in co-authoring high-quality research papers (CVPR/ICCV/ISMAR/SIGGRAPH, etc.)

Additional Information

•  MAJOR(S): Computer Science or related fields
• DEGREE LEVEL: Ph.D. or Master – Must be a current student or recent graduate (less than 1 year)
• START DATE: As soon as possible
• DURATION: 3 – 12 months
