Job Description

TEAM: Hydrogen Fuel Cell Stack and Systems Development group within the Powertrain Solutions Division

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer front-end/first point of contact for acquisitions, awarded projects, and troubleshooting
• FC System development related to the stack, for example humidification system design or removal, anode supply module design, stack housing requirements and design, freeze start-up (assisted vs unassisted), customer field validation, etc
• Requirements Engineering Coordinator for PEM FC Stack projects: regular updates of customer/internal databases, prioritization of tasks, internal coordination as required, and reporting
• Write, update, release, and discuss technical customer documentation (TCD) and interface design document (IDD) with the customer and internal platform development leads
• Technical support of local NA production activities for the PEM FC Stack if/when required

TECHNOLOGY DOMAINS

·        PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) Fuel Cell Stacks

·        PEM Electrolysis Stacks

·        Automotive/mobile applications including commercial vehicles

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENGINEERS...

·        Who are good communicators; able to explain complex engineering processes in simple terms to non-engineers in verbal, written, and visual forms

·        That have a team-oriented, self-directed personality and strong inter-personal and organizational skills

·        Who are willing to learn via various methods, including external courses, internal seminars (Local and abroad), and self-driven means

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Alternative Energy Engineering
• 3+ years of industry experience working with PEM Fuel Cell or Electrolysis stack development
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required (up to ~20%)
• Desired: Experience with calibration tools and SW such as ETAS INCA
