Job Description
Kettering University Co-Op (Section A and B)
- Support the software team with development, tuning, verification and validation of "Driver Assistance" functions (e.g. for adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and rear radar functions)
- Debug / troubleshoot advanced driver assistance functions using automotive development tools like CANalyzer and CANape
- Perform basic vehicle tests on the proving ground
- Analyze and document the test results using established processes
- Define test plans / test cases and drive tests according to customer and internal requirements
- Support the team with re-simulation / data mining / labeling / testing
- Support vehicle integration (e.g. radar alignment, flashing and debugging)
- Program, test, and integrate gateways in the development vehicle.

Co-Op student should have good team and communication skills to fit within a committed and very cooperative team. Student should also be able to work independently in an organized and structured fashion.
Preferred candidate will have:
- 1 yr experience with Matlab / Simulink and scripting languages (Python, Perl)
- 1 yr experience with Vector tooling (e.g. CANape, CANalyzer)
- Knowledge of "Driver Assistance" functions and sensor technologies
- Basic Android programming experience
