Our team is developing novel signal processing and machine learning algorithms for analyzing the audio patterns generated by various physical processes around us. The intern will part of a dynamic and highly motivated team working on building exciting new products and services enabled by audio analytics, which leverages state-of-the-art data-driven approaches (deep learning) for audio feature representation learning and their semantic interpretations. One of the primary goals of this research internship is to explore practical ways to inject domain knowledge into the deep learning pipeline (depending on concrete use cases). An ideal candidate will have hands-on familiarity with theory and practice of state-of-the-art audio signal processing as well as deep learning approaches.
