Job Description

You are an expert in Big Data analysis and know how to apply Machine Learning techniques to solve challenging data driving problems? Can you detect abnormalities in data? Are you familiar with supervised and un-supervised learning techniques? Do you want to apply your knowledge to real world problems?

Help us to develop our next generation algorithms for e.g. behavioral classification, forecasting and prediction, fusion of multiple data sources, or in general improving our current algorithm by more sophisticated data driving models.

This challenging task involves deep understanding machine learning, time serial analysis, algorithm development, and rapid prototyping for quick iterations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Must currently be enrolled in final year of Computer Science or related degree program
• Must be able to commit to a minimum co-op/intern duration of 3 months
• Full-time 40-hours per week is preferred
• Minimum GPA 3.0 required
• Must be able to work in a multi-cultural multi-site environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with supervised and un-supervised Machine Learning models. Specifically, experience with machine learning models including but not limited to linear regression, decision trees, logistic regression, SVM, Neural Networks (DL), HMM, and Kalman Filters
• Experience training machine learning models, hyper parameter tuning, model selection, and model evaluation
• Experience in translating algorithmic ideas to good quality python code, object oriented programming in python, experience using numpy and scipy
• Experience with iPython notebooks, REST APIs, and Git
• Experience with Apache Airflow, building end-to-end machine learning pipelines, and building interactive dashboards using python dash is a plus
• Experience with applied deep learning and computer vision is a plus
