GM/SCC Intern (Starting January 2019)
Job Description
The qualified individual will be responsible for pricing and plant related discrepancy analysis, including the processing of pricing debit/credit memos and preparing reports for divisions to support in resolution. Specific responsibilities include: working closely with Bosch Plant associates to determine if quantity, returned material, excess freight deductions are correct, issuing credit memos and maintenance to clear the accounts. Also, will need to understand the price discrepancies to determine why there are variances between Bosch invoice price and amount customer paid. Reporting actual results to managers and responding to follow up variance questions with adequate research and documentation. Responsibilities also include participation in the month end accounting close process and adhering to strict reporting deadlines during month end. Acting as the contact point for plant related discrepancies with other locations in the organization. Responsibilities will also include documenting work processes while incorporating improvements. Finally, presentation preparation, management reviews, special projects and ad hoc requests are all part of normal job duties.
