THIS INTERNSHIP WILL BE PARTIALLY REMOTE BUT THE HIRED APPLICANT WILL BE EXPECTED TO COME INTO THE MOUNT PROSPECT OFFICE. ONLY LOCAL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

This internship will be on the Rotary and Creative Purpose Team within the Dremel Rotary Tools Business Unit. Alongside product and user marketing managers, the candidate will support a wide range of marketing activities of current products and new product launches for both North America and Latin America/South America. These activities include new product launch team support, product life cycle management analysis, product discontinuance, sales reporting, marketing plan development and marketing effectiveness analysis. The expectation is that the trainee will develop into a key support for user and product marketing and will be self sufficient on his/her own marketing projects by the end of the rotation. FOCUS AREA: Corded Rotary Tools, Rotary Tools Accessories and Attachments

Qualifications

• Enrolled or recently graduated within the past six months from an accredited Product Marketing or General Marketing program. At least Junior status
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug and background screen pre-employment
• Position only open to students who will not now, nor in the future require sponsorship to work in the United States
