Job Description
Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and improvement changes along with Manufacturing Engineering utilizing lean methodologies. Identification of bottlenecks in production processes and potential solutions.
Learn how to establish manufacturing rates, routings.
Assist in the process of sourcing the parts and components.
Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas including Machining, Assembly, Maintenance, Testing and/or Quality.
Assist in the development of proposals for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment on line with cost and timing requirements.
Working with the Quality team, determine internal quality procedures and implement in manufacturing.
Support with the implementation of Industry 4.0 in the defined manufacturing area.
Participate in BPS Kaizen events both within and outside your area.
Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in a field of study relevant to the business
3.0 GPA or higher
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be a team player
Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen and a background check
