    Job Description

    Work as part of a team of Bosch Production System (BPS) Subject Matter Experts to develop, teach and continuously improve training packages for a variety of target audiences across the North American organization. Support North American facilities in lean manufacturing, supply chain management and administrative optimization implementation. Provide leadership and technical skills (e.g., production system design) within cross-functional project teams involving the entire value stream. Mentor Value Stream Leaders in all business units.

    Provide instruction on BPS topics including BPS Basics, Value Stream Design, Lean Logistics Basics (incl. Pull and Leveling), Standardized Work, Leading in a BPS Plant, Working According to Standards, Pull and Leveling, and Shop Floor Management Cycle. Coach leadership in Leading in a BPS Plant throughout North America.

    Develop and roll out new BPS-related training packages as needed. Coordinate with global Bosch central departments with respect to training packages, rollout of global standards, and assessment criteria. Continuously improve training packages, Coordinate facilities and attendees

    Facilitate workshops related to BPS implementation such as Value Stream Design (production and administrative), Lean Line Design, Leveling, Pull Systems, and Standardized Work. Support improvement workshops for manufacturing operations, logistics, and planning.

    Acquire projects and maintain a relationship with customers, including customer contact, acquisition, and planning of projects, maintaining close communication with customer, monitoring of customer satisfaction.

    M/TMS-NA positions allow for a hybrid work environment (Remote Work/Work from Home as suitable with the project/customer needs) and on-site as needed. M/TMS-NA supports all North American Robert Bosch facilities and therefore travel is required.

    ***Depending on customer/project location, domestic travel could be 50% or higher.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Statistics, or Mathematics
    • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
    • 3+ years lean manufacturing implementation experience
    • Instructional LEAN presentation experience
    • Must be open to up to 50% travel, domestically and internationally

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training development and delivery experience at all levels of the organization, including the ability to share practical examples/solutions during classes/training
    • Demonstrate systems thinking and an ability to apply BPS principles in the workplace
    • Demonstrate change management skills and the ability to lead conversions from traditional production principles of LEAN Manufacturing methodologies and processes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work closely with cross functional teams
