Vibration Technician Intern - Associates Degree Program Only (Starting August 2018)
Job Description
Technician duties will include setting up and running various vibration and combined environment tests on electrodynamic and hydraulic vibration test systems. Tests types include but are not limited to Sine, Random, and Shock with temperature cycling and humidity.
The technician will be responsible for test fixture modification and setup of DUT monitoring and control hardware. Technician duties will also include preparing test reports.
Basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of the vibration test systems will also be performed by the technician.
Qualifications
Pursuing an Associate degree in either mechanical or electrical systems (prefer a combination) with one semester completed
Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Ability to work 20 - 40 hours per week
