    Job Description

    This internship is located within the Product Returns department responsible for receiving, processing, and storing all returned goods. In addition the returns department is responsible for inventory management activities including cycle counts, adjustments, scrapping, and inventory transfers between warehouses. the intern in this role will be exposed to the processes and procedures responsible for returning new and unused product to stock. There will also be regular interaction with the Warranty & Returns Administrators and the After Sales and Quality departments to understand proper disposition and managing quality/defective returns.

    THE PERSON SELECTED FOR THIS INTERNSHIP WILL:

    •Work aside the returns team assisting the process of customer return authorizations and credits.

    •Assist in identifying missing, mismatched or erroneous return authorizations and customer information.

    •Work closely with Warranty and Returns Administrators, and the After Sales and Quality departments to resolve RMA issues.

    •Gain an understanding for evaluating and postings goods receipt for all return deliveries.

    •Learn repackaging activities to make new and unused returns are like new.

    •Participates in the daily inventory "cycle counting" activity.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Currently enrolled at a local accredited college studying business management, supply chain management or Logistics management.

    Junior or senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above.

    Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills

    A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

    Additional Information

    Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 40 hours per week during the summer and at least 20 hours during the Fall 2018 school year without Visa sponsorship. ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.  NO RELOCATION AVAILABLE.

    DURATION OF INTERNSHIP IS SEPTEMBER– DECEMBER 2018.
