  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Resident Engineer assignment onsite an OEM in the Detroit Metro area.

    • Provide 1st level support for a vehicle test fleet operated in North America, predominantly in the Detroit Metro area.

    • Trouble shooting and tracking of engine controls related issues.

    • Flashing of SW updates, vehicle testing and analysis of measurements.

    • Participate in/coordinate development/certification activities related to emissions, fuel economy and evaporative emissions.

    • Serve as the main interface between Bosch Germany and the development team in North America.

    • Occasional travel (domestic) may be necessary.

    • Planned duration: August 2018 - December 2018

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    *  Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.

    *  Pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.

    *  Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.

    *  Minimum 2 years professional work experience.

    • Basic knowledge of emissions, fuel economy and evaporative emission systems.

    • Proactive and self-contained.

    • Able to work in close cooperation with engineering teams in Farmington Hills and Germany to efficiently support  trouble shooting and problem solving.
