Ramp-up can comprise machine acceptance, installation in a Bosch plant, and production capacity build up in our plants in Hildesheim (Germany), Jihlava (Czech Republic), and in Charleston (USA).

This posting is for a process engineer / expert for our laser welding process, which includes the following tasks and functional responsibilities:

    • Cooperation with internal and external partners (process development, quality, suppliers, production, logistics, quality) for process and equipment optimizations
    • Transfer know-how to target plants in our International Production Network
    • Problem solving and root cause analysis on serial production equipment
    • Daily participation in shopfloor management
    • Leadership on quality management systems in the production environment
    • Ensure a safe ramp-up in the plants
    • Mentor and train hourly associates in proactive maintenance and troubleshooting, including development and rollout of training material

We are searching for highly-motivated candidates to accompany successive ramp-ups in all three locations. This is a unique possibility to work in an international set-up, explore three different locations in three different countries, experience intercultural topics and broaden your professional network.
