    Job Description

    BOSCH is currently seeking multiple PROCESS SPECIALISTS for their production facility in ANDERSON, SC. _ _These are DIRECT HIRE, and FULL-TIME with EXCELLENT PAY AND BENEFITS.

    RATES START AT $28.50/HR PLUS $1.25 APPLICABLE SHIFT PREMIUM WITH PROGRESSION UP TO $32.50/HR PLUS SHIFT PREMIUM.

    AVAILABLE SHIFTS INCLUDE:

    • 5th Shift (7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday) (Work 24 hrs and paid for 34 hrs)

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • First response to faults on production line and recovery thereof. 
    • Monitor and react quickly to critical process indicator data on the production floor. 
    • Execute process trials with engineer guidance as needed to improve process understanding and support improvements.
    • Troubleshoot process deviations and involve support resources as needed to correct issues.
    • Follow plant safety and environmental policies, and keep work areas clean and orderly
    • Conduct inventory and component inspections and/or audit to specification, as required
    • Maintain charts, logbooks, databases, as required
    • Perform and maintain accurate finished goods traceability
    • Escalate concerns for material, technical, and quality issues
    • Make workstation adjustments, including tool and fixture changes, to facilitate product changeover, as required

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This position will require technical troubleshooting ability.  Be able to work with technicians to help solve issues quickly.  
    • Support Technicians in repairing and improving equipment
    • Achieve production KPIs (quality, output, scrap, etc)
    • Able to identify line deviations and record information
    • Main responsibility is to be able to react to machine faults quickly and help find root cause. 
    • Perform Start-up Poke Yoke as required
    • Monitor specified cycle times to ensure improvements do not adversely affect productivity
    • Understand, communicate, and follow established best practices and safety
    • Implement minor improvements to the process or equipment for increased quality and or production
    • Provide input for deviations and to look for ways to improve process or equipment
    • Able to cover/support operator jobs
    • Perform 5S daily for adherence
    • Lead sort activities for any suspect quality defects
    • Any other task that is necessary to ensure KPIs are met and ensure customer shipments

    • Strong communication skills within the department
    • Willingness to learn, self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and leadership skills
    • Results driven
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to obtain black hammer and lightning bolt
    • Experienced in high volume manufacturing process preferred
    • 2-year degree or equivalent preferred
