  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Support one or more experienced engineers with basic engineering task related to research development and testing. 

    • Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products.
    • Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing
    • Assist engineering in product design and development
    • Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support
    • Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation
    • Test prototypes and standard products and write reports to document the results.
    • Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively liaison between partners, headquarters and customers.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Attending a two-year or four-year college for Electrical Engineering major.  Basic Electrical skills. • Knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems a plus • Proficient in Microsoft office, Word Excel Power point and Outlook • Ability to work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to communicate engineering requirements. • Accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness. • Ability to provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate

    Additional Information

    Experience in some of the following areas is desired but not required:

    1. Platform and Variant Bill Of Material Development, Design and Documentation.
    2. Failure Mode Effects Analysis knowledge.
    3. Technical data, material specifications, BOM, wiring diagrams, drawings, test plans. 4.  Knowledge of NEC, UL and any other applicable electrical and safety codes. 5.  Knowledge of HVAC concepts and systems, electro-mechanical and direct digital control circuits, electrical circuits, blowers and motors.
