    Job Description

    PAID, REMOTE & FLEXIBLE HOURS

    The Training Specialist  - Internship is responsible for working directly with the Training Coordinator, Training Manager, and the Customer Service team to maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), input customer data, create reports, and manage customer accounts and special projects related to training. The Training Specialist  - Internship must represent Bosch Building Technologies in a professional manner and be able to work independently with strong attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and solid organizational and communication skills.

    Paid Internship duration is summer and/or fall but may extend 12-18 months, and requires approximately 30-40 hours per week schedule.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the training coordinator with training schedules, including facilities allocation, training marketing materials and pre-and post-work communication
    • Order, prepare, and distribute materials required for the delivery of training
    • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) including, but not limited to, uploading on-line learning and resources, managing roles and permissions, maintaining accurate information, running reports, supporting system upgrades or changes, helping users, and manage resolving LMS issues for a global audience
    • Independently handles and resolves routine issues that are inherent to the role, including calls from internal and external customers regarding all training related activities
    • Assists with linking LMS training data to SAP customer accounts
    • Coordinates with global stakeholders on updates and revisions to training program-related processes, procedures, and supporting documentation
    • Assists with changes and updates to the training brochure, marketing materials, website, and LMS pages
    • Manage the relationship with the LMS customer data with SAP and Customer Service Portal accounts, including submitting and tracking LMS completions and preparing reports to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
    • Provide general admin assistance and support for the training manager, customer service team, trainers, internal and external customers
    • Run standard KPI and custom training reports as required, and using data to create spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations for training analysis
    • Professionally support the Training Mailbox and Training Hotline
    • Assist in responsibility for ensuring all training rooms / venues, customer payments, equipment, catering arrangements, and other requirements are properly booked or canceled in advance
    • Manage course evaluations and compile results for Training Manager
    • Travel may be required up to 10% both domestic and international

    REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION

    • Must currently be enrolled in a relevant academic degree program (undergrad or graduate program) such as but not limited to Business Administration/ Business Management, Organizational Management and or Marketing Management, with no more than one-year post graduation
    • Must be able to commit to a minimum internship duration of 6-12 months with possibility of extension
    • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week schedule
    • U.S. work authorization required. Bosch Security Systems, Inc. does not offer sponsorship for interns
    • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 required
    • Local applicants preferred

    Experience

    Minimum 1 - 3 years of administrative or project work experience preferred.

    Must be a “self-starter” with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced administrative capacity. Excellent computer skills using MS Office software packages.  Must possess strong communication, organizational, and customer relations skills.
