    Job Description

    As a Manager of Lean Management, Process Improvement and EHS, you will lead, foster, and develop a caring culture where safety, health and environment are ingrained as core values with all employees. You will ensure each of your sites maintain a continuous “audit ready” state of compliance regarding both EHS policies & procedures and all applicable external regulatory requirements.

    You will be responsible to:

    • Create and ensure implementation of necessary systems, processes and procedures, including management of change.
    • Partner with division and site leadership team to develop site EHS Key Priorities, Drivers and Activities with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive site EHS performance improvement. 
    • Oversee all Facility, Contractors, Duties and Maintenance
    • Develop, implement, lead and maintain an organization Continuous Improvement Program and culture based upon lean principles and enhance all aspects of KPI performance. It is essential that the individual be a skilled and proven facilitator and leader in Lean, Continuous Improvement and Digitalization
    • Prepare all Budgets / Forecasts for responsible areas and ensure year over year improvements and costs are materialized for your area.
    • Work with leaders and team members to focus on Continuous Improvement/Lean activities/Digitalization/Cost Savings within their areas of responsibility
    • Leader of deploying  problem solving methods, continuous improvement techniques and digitalization tools
    • Analyze improvement opportunities as well as guide and plan actions around safety, quality, people and productivity improvement initiatives
    • Be the expert on Lean, Digitalization and overall continuous improvement concepts, as well as providing learning opportunities to members 
    • Facilitate Departmental Workshops – ie… Continuous Improvement, Policy Deployment, Value Stream Design
    • Set Vision / Strategy for HSE, Lean, Digitalization and Continuous Improvement Teams
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health Safety or a related field such as engineering, biology or chemistry required

    5+ years of experience in EHS and/or Compliance, including: 

    • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, LEAN and Digitalization
    • Thorough knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations

    3+ years of experience coaching / leading Six Sigma, Problem Solving, Digitalization and Lean tools, techniques (including Kaizen), and methodologies

    Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision and have strong demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills.

    Demonstrated ability to drive sustainable organizational change

    Business Acumen:

    • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and problem-solve
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional teams capable of delivering desired results
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence across a diverse range of people

    Proficiency with Windows based applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Ability to master other specialized software
