    Job Description

    At Bosch Research in Pittsburgh, we are looking for an enthusiastic engineering intern to contribute to developing an AI-based solution for human activity recognition by leveraging Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and cameras. The intern will work with the team to develop an infrastructure for collecting real-world data for implementing a practical solution.

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Develop infrastructure to collect large scale IMUs + camera data.
    • Contribute to developing a novel AI-based solution for human activity recognition using the collected data.
    • Show a proof-of-concept demo.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Hands on experience of developing framework for data collection and experience of collecting real-world data.
    • Experience of using IMUs and cameras.
    • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prototype quickly.
    • Familiarity with iOS and Android development.
    • Background in AI-based techniques is a plus.

    Additional Information

    The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $22.50-$56.50. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
