THIS INTERNSHIP WILL BE PARTIALLY REMOTE BUT THE HIRED APPLICANT WILL BE EXPECTED TO COME INTO THE MOUNT PROSPECT OFFICE. ONLY LOCAL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

As a Supply Chain Intern with Robert Bosch Tool Corporation you will become an integral part of critical aspects in managing the flow of goods and information that help us meet our customer requirements.  Key areas of involvement will be in supporting analysis and communication with select customers, transportation track and trace, analysis and simplification of processes.  While supporting the supply chain team you will receive an all around view of logistics aspects in a large retail environment, with work in the following areas:

• Solve daily customer logistics issues (availability, data set-up, new items, changes in master data)
• Review customer orders and follow them through the process of EDI, SAP and shipping  and receiving at account
• Support, build, and simplify data analysis required throughout the supply chain team
• Support improvement and lead time of inbound shipments , while conducting regular track and trace
• Capture and simplify details around logistics process

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college and in pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
• Demonstrates interest and ability to pick-up new systems (SAP, Tableau, etc) and complete data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support communication with team members and to outline clearly and succinctly work that you may support them with
• Strong understanding of Excel tools with the capability to apply and expand knowledge to business needs
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Attention to detail and analytical skill that support complex troubleshooting methods
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug and background screen pre-employment
• Position only open to students who will not now, nor in the future require sponsorship to work in the United States
