Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in computer science or related area
- 4+ years of academic or industry experience in knowledge graphs, or natural language processing
- Programming experience (Python, Java) and data engineering skills (SQL, OWL, SPARQL, Pandas, REST APIs)
- Previous research experience in building ontologies / knowledge graphs and semantic reasoning frameworks is desirable
- Practical experience and knowledge of common Semantic Web tools (e.g., Jena, Protege, Stardog, or Neptune)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Publication record in top venues of knowledge engineering and/or natural language processing research (e.g., WWW, ISWC, ACL, EMNLP, AAAI, Semantic Web Journal)
- Knowledge and experience in neuro-symbolic reasoning
- Knowledge and experience in machine learning and common ML/NLP frameworks (e.g., Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, or Spacy)
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong leadership skills to drive research topics and projects
