  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    In this dynamic, cross-functional role, you are responsible for new product development by addressing portfolio gaps utilizing the UX and time to market stage gate process, as well as life-cycle management of assigned product categories: Plumbing and Electrical tools.  You will do so through the following activities:

    • Creating business cases and preparing project financials for new product development
    • Leading the roadmap development for Plumbing and Electrical tools
    • Assisting in the development of end user driven products from concept ideation to commercialization.
    • Calling on commercial/residential jobsite environments regularly and the ability to thrive in a corporate environment.
    • Working with international teams in a personal and virtual environment
    • Frequent partnership / cross-functional collaboration with end users and sales channels to ensure customer demands are aligned
    • Ensuring on-time completion of product safety reviews as well as product manuals
    • Assisting with setup of product/pricing information, i.e. Maintenance of Product Databases
    • Monitoring category KPIs to ensure business plan targets are being met
    • Supporting product improvements, address quality concerns and seek cost reduction opportunities
    • Utilizing and implementing agile work methods in order to reduce time to market
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of Product Marketing, Engineering, and/or Sales experience working in an international team environment in the Consumer Goods industry (Power Tools industry experience preferred)
    • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience; postgraduate degree preferred
    • Prior experience working in an international entity with cross-functional collaboration experience preferred
    • Prior experience working in the Plumbing or Electrical fields preferred
    • Outgoing personality, hands on, driven, able to maintain a sense of urgency and thrive in a process-driven environment
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • 30% travel including some international travel
