Job Description

Seeking up to a one year commitment for a Logistics & Supply Chain Intern.Job responsibilities will require viable transportation, punctuality, reliability and excellent attendance. Job duties include:

• Assisting Shipping/Receiving/Logistics and Manufacturing managers with activities of fast paced manufacturing operation.
• Assisting with multiple projects related to inventory control, product configuration, scanning systems training, point of use improvements, shipments and general receiving, central warehousing, materials crib and general stores activities.
• Assisting with continuous improvement opportunities

*Pay Rate: $15 - $19 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited colllege in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Outgoing with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• SAP knowledge a plus
