Job Description

Value Stream Support as a Manufacturing Engineer.  Develop and implement projects to support the Value Stream targets in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs, CIP.

Operational Processes: Support the Manufacturing Operations of a defined Value Stream as required to meet company targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs.  Review, improve and initiate all operation processes using lean tools, continuously documenting said processes.

Process Documentation & Planning:  Review, create, and updated documentation related to the above processes as per the requirements established by Bosch and the lead plant. Develop training documents to support operations.

Operations Support:  Monitor and support all issues regarding operations on real time demand.  Understand and solve process interruptions and document all operational issues.  Support the electrical and mechanical technicians in their daily work to resolve such operational issues.

Cost Reduction:  Develop cost reductions through process improvement based on BPS guidelines.  Plan and execute changes caused by new suppliers and materials.

New Products:  Support the Time To Market team to bring new products into the market.

Execute continuous improvement projects related to areas including machining, assembly, maintenance, testing, and quality.

Qualifications

BSME

Hands on experience with mechanical / electrical processes and machines.

Ability to read blueprints, process diagrams, electrical diagrams, hydraulics diagrams, working in SAP, etc.

Strong knowledge and ability to work in CAD.  Experience in programming PLC and CNC machinery, preferred.

Ability and willingness to work and communicate effectively within cross-functional and diverse teams.

Ability, willingness, and flexibility to travel internationally.
