Job Description

Customer project scope:

• Defining of application scope.
• Assurance of vehicle system performance according to the performance requirements.
• Assurance of Customer vehicle performance approval including final performance sign-off for production.
• Technical coordination of application timing of a project.
• Support SFMEA, quality gates, Requirements Management and technical databases.
• Coordinate information and technical modifications continually within the project team.

Application project scope:

• Develop and maintain detailed vehicle application calibration schedule.
• Responsible for building and debugging test vehicles.
• Responsible for vehicle active safety systems calibration on motorcycle and powersports vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in automotive engineering field working with customers.
• Knowledge or exposure with motorcycle and powersports technologies, vehicle dynamics and control strategy for embedded software systems.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment a plus.
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, control strategy and vehicle safety.
• Knowledge in foundation, actuation and suspension technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 20% (Domestic and International).

Preferred:

• Experience with customer projects in the automotive, 2-wheel and powersports area; ability to work independently with direct customer contact.
• Ability to work in global cross-functional teams; project teams from different cultures.
• Pro-active and independent management of risks, timing and budget.
• Structured and efficient working style, results focus.
• Experience riding motorcycle and powersports vehicles.
