Job Description

• Creating, monitoring  and reporting  cost reduction projects
• Supports in the procurement of parts for pre-production and post SOP projects 
• Supporting in technical supplier discussion prior nomination
• Support the implementation of Engineering Change Requests
• Lead and track Request for Quotations (RFQ) as well as sourcing Sourcing
• Analyze and compare quotations from multiple suppliers and form a proposal
• Identification of cost saving projects through market studies 
• Msnage costs savings projects from RFQ through APQP release
• Support in launch management activities with suppliers

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university with at least 4 semesters completed and be pursuing a Bachelors (or Masters) degree in the Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering field

• Proficient with MS Office

• Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0

• Minimum 18 years of age

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Diligent & willing to learn  

• Prefer previous work experience in a related field

• Must be able to work in teams and to lead small project groups
